The initial trading company Flourish21 Ltd was established in June 2018 with the aim of raising global awareness about the new Science of Flourishing and making the Flourish Project tools and materials accessible to as many people as possible.

​In 2020 it then became the Community Interest Company Flourish Project C.I.C. and, since then, has been steadily building up global interest and support for its activities. The development process was, however, substantially slowed down due to the COVID pandemic.
